Grain higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery was .60 cent a bale higher at $4.7360 a bushel; July corn was 11.40 cents higher at $4.34 bushel; July oats was 5 cents higher at $2.0660 a bushel; while July soybeans gained 16.40 cents to $11.49 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle was 1.03 cents higher at $1.1738 a pound; August feeder cattle was 1.25 cents higher at $1.3983 pound; July lean hogs lost .25 cent to $.8653 a pound.
