Prospect Heights Park District hosts scavenger hunt

The Prospect Heights Park District is celebrating its 50th anniversary in July with a Family Parks Scavenger Hunt.

Starting July 1, residents can pick up a "Celebrating 50 in the Parks" passport at the Gary Morava Recreation Center, 110 W. Camp McDonald Road, to start the hunt. Trivia facts will be hidden in district parks, and at the recreation center and Old Orchard Country Club. Participants can take the passport to those facilities, find the trivia facts and write down the answer on the passport.

Once the passport is complete, return it the Morava center. Prizes will be awarded to all participants.
