Pregnant Volunteers Needed for Free Ultrasounds at College of DuPage

The Diagnostic Medical Imaging Sonography program at College of DuPage is seeking pregnant volunteers to participate in free afternoon scanning sessions this summer.

Volunteer appointments are available at 3:30 and 4 p.m. on Mondays, June 27, July 11 and July 18. Three openings are available for each time period, and volunteers can be in any stage of pregnancy.

The free sessions allow DMIS students to practice their scanning skills under the supervision of registered diagnostic medical sonographers. The scans are not diagnostic tests, and reports are not issued. Volunteers are asked to obtain verbal permission from their physicians prior to the session.
