Thank you, Chairman Aaron Lawlor, for hearing the concerns of Lake County residents and withdrawing your support for the Route 53 project. This project has been in the pipeline for over 50 years. It's time to move on and to stop spending valuable resources on a dead project. Instead, let's start identifying practical transportation solutions and sound economic development strategies while protecting Lake County's valuable natural resources. The need is now, not 10 years from now. Let's get going!
