Student-Run Waterleaf Dining Room, Culinary Market to Open in June for Summer

The student-run Waterleaf Dining Room and Culinary Market at College of DuPage will both open for summer term on Tuesday, June 14.

Students in the International Cuisine class take guests on a gastronomic tour of the world with recipes celebrating the seasons and using the freshest ingredients. Lunches start at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays, June 14 (Tuscany), June 21 (Provence), June 28 (Greece), July 12 (Argentina) and July 19 (Thailand). The menus can be viewed here, and the cost is $20, which includes tax. Wines are available by the glass.

The Culinary Market sells items made by students and will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from June 14 to July 20. The menu at the Culinary Market changes daily and is tied to the curriculum of several classes.

Dedicated dining parking can be found by the entrance to the Culinary & Hospitality Center. Reservations for lunches are available through the Waterleaf page at www.opentable.com.
