Court clerk's office can take passport photos
If you need a photo taken for a passport, you can now head to the Lake County circuit court clerk's office in Waukegan. The clerk's office already offered passport applications and processing, but photos had to be taken elsewhere, according to a news release. Passport photos can be taken at the clerk's office weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Photos cost $15. Appointments aren't needed. More information is available at lakecountycircuitclerk.org.
