Brass band's silver anniversary

The Illinois Brass Band celebrates its 25th anniversary with a special concert at First United Methodist Church, 1903 E. Euclid Ave., Arlington Heights. The program features selections from the band's concerts during the last 25 years and the premiere of "Fanfare of Commemoration" by Andrew Wainwright. The piece was commissioned specifically for the anniversary concert. Former Illinois Brass Band members are invited to bring their musical instruments to join the group in the final number.
