Miss Northern Suburbs to Compete at Miss Illinois

GRAYSLAKE, IL - Kaitlyn Dixon was crowned Miss Northern Suburbs on October 17, 2015 and will compete at the Miss Illinois competition in Marion, Illinois.

Kaitlyn will compete for the title of Miss Illinois beginning Wednesday, June 15th. The week-long competition will be held at the Marion Cultural and Civic Center. Friends and families are welcome to attend the competition, and can purchase tickets online at www.marionccc.com.

Contestants will compete in swimsuit, evening gown, interview and talent competitions. Kaitlyn will sing "Orange Colored Sky" on Wednesday night.

The winner of Miss Illinois will go on to compete for the title of Miss America later this year. Awards will be given for first, second, and third runner-up, including thousands of dollars in scholarship awards.
