Girls on the Town Square supporting breast cancer
Town Square Wheaton restaurants and retailers will host the second annual Girls on the Town event on Wednesday, June 8 beginning at 6:30 pm. This year the event will be in partnership with the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
To begin the night, the first 300 shoppers who check into the event in center circle at the fountain will receive a free wine tote. American Cancer Society volunteers will be on hand to accept donations for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer or attendees can support the cause by tossing coins into the fountain throughout the month of June.
Following check-in, shoppers can stroll the center and enjoy music by FM Stars and sip complimentary wine, beer and sake tastings offered at three locations throughout the property. Special discounts, raffle prizes, treats, demonstrations and other special gifts from Town Square Wheaton retailers will be available to all participants. A map and up to date listing of all festivities for the evening will be available at center circle.
Tunes on Tuesday
A new concert series event on three Tuesdays in June from 6:30-8:30pm has been added to the summer event line-up at the center. Area residents are welcome to bring their chairs and enjoy the outdoor atmosphere at Town Square.

Making Change for Making Strides
Toss change in the fountain during the month of June in center circle at the Town Square Wheaton fountain! Because of the determination of Making Strides supporters like you, the American Cancer Society is there for people in every community affected by breast cancer, whether they're currently dealing with a diagnosis, may face one in the future, or will avoid it altogether because of education and risk reduction.
Making Strides Rally
Breast cancer survivors, caregivers and supporters are invited to come together to celebrate and be empowered to make a difference. Information will be available about the upcoming Making Strides Walk of DuPage County and additional volunteer opportunities with the American Cancer Society. We will also introduce the Real Men Making Strides Ambassadors, fabulous men from our community who have committed to raise awareness and funds breast cancer in DuPage County.
