AEK, PAOK play to a scoreless draw in Greek playoffs

ATHENS, Greece (AP) - AEK Athens and PAOK ended scoreless in the fifth round of the Greek playoffs Sunday.

Both teams finished the game a man down. PAOK defender Giorgos Tzavelas was dismissed for a foul on Tomas Pekhart in the 32nd minute, as the latter raced toward the goal. Pekhart was also dismissed, with a second yellow card, in the 49th.

Earlier Sunday, Panathinaikos beat Panionios 1-0 to revive its chances. Sebastian Leto hit the winner in the 78th.

PAOK leads the playoffs with 11 points, one ahead of Panathinaikos and two ahead of AEK.

In Tuesday's last round, PAOK hosts Panathinaikos and AEK plays at Panionios.

The playoff winner will join Greek champion Olympiakos in next season's Champions League.
