Prospect Heights Park District Board seeking new member

The Prospect Heights Park District Board is looking for a new member after its president, Lisa Gould, resigned at the last meeting May 17 because she is relocating to Arizona.

Those interested must be a resident of the park district for at least one year and be a registered voter within the park district. Applicants must submit a resume and a letter of interest via email to commissioner@phparks.org or by mail to 100 W. Camp McDonald Road, Prospect Heights, IL 60070 no later than June 26. The board will interview applicants in July and hope to make an appointment no later than Aug. 31.

The new member will fill the remaining part of Gould's unexpired four-year term. In April 2019, the position is subject to an election in which interested parties may run for the board.
