Remembering music icon Les Paul

The Wauconda Township Historical Society will host "Remembering Les Paul with Steve & Johnnie," Sunday, June 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the township hall, 505 W. Bonner Road, Wauconda. Reservations are required and can be made at (847) 526-9303, email at wths@wauconda-history.org or message on Facebook. The event will feature Chicago radio legends Steve King and Johnnie Putnam, the husband and wife duo best known as "Steve & Johnnie," who have written "A Little More Les," a book of their memories of a treasured friendship with American icon, Les Paul. Paul was a Grammy winning musicians, who artistry and inventions changed the music industry and left a lasting impression on pop culture. Meet Steve & Johnnie and enjoy their stories and memories. "A Little More Les" will be available for purchase and for Steve & Johnnie to sign.
