Lambs Farm run/walk fundraiser
Lambs Farm will host its third annual Fun & Fit Family Day 5K run/2 mile walks at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 25, at the Old School Forest Preserve, on St. Mary's Road, south of Route 176. Activities include a kids dash, live DJ, giveaways, entertainer Ralph Covert, course obstacles, pre- and post-run demonstration by Keumgang Martial Arts Academy, a balloon artist, Einstein bagels and Chick-fil-A sandwiches, discounted admission to the Farmyard and more. Registration is open and those who sign up before June 2 receive an event day T-shirt. Lambs Farm is a nonprofit that helps people with developmental disabilities lead productive, happy lives.
