Albania's Skenderbeu says UEFA probing alleged match-fixing

TIRANA, Albania (AP) - Albanian league champion KF Skenderbeu says it is being investigated by UEFA for match-fixing.
A statement Wednesday says UEFA has asked them to go to a hearing after doubts about some results in the national league and European competition.
The club, which won the league title for the sixth straight time this year, says the probe was based on information from betting companies, allegations from fans and the media.
The club says they will "argue we have won everything based on our merits and the results have always been deserved."
