Kinsler scratched from Detroit lineup with flu-like symptoms

DETROIT (AP) - Ian Kinsler has been scratched from the Detroit lineup for Tuesday night's game against Philadelphia because of flu-like symptoms.

Mike Aviles is set to play second base in Kinsler's place. The Detroit lineup is also without outfielder Justin Upton again. He sat out Monday night's game because of right quadriceps tightness.

Outfielder Cameron Maybin replaces Kinsler in the leadoff spot.

Kinsler had missed only one game this season for the Tigers. He's hitting .306 with 10 home runs and 24 RBIs.
