Clerk injured in Aurora armed robbery
Aurora police are investigating an early Tuesday heist in which a gas station clerk was injured.
Police said two black men wearing gray ski masks, black jackets and blue jeans entered a gas station about 2:30 a.m. on the 1700 block of N. Farnsworth St. and struck the 60-year-old male clerk in the head with a handgun.
The men then stole cash, cigarettes and other items totaling about $600 and ran south.
The clerk was treated for a cut on his head but declined any further medical attention.
