'Read for the Win' at Palatine Library, June 1-Aug. 15

Sign up for Read for the Win - this year's Summer Reading Program at Palatine Library - between Wednesday, June 1, and Monday, Aug. 15. District cardholders of all ages can visit www.palatinelibrary.org and log their own reading progress, or sign up at any Palatine Library location.

After registering, you'll receive a scratch-off card to play a game of chance! You could win a free Sarpino's 8" personal pizza (Palatine location) or win one of 100 sporty prizes, generously donated by the Friends of the Palatine Library. Plus, you'll receive special promotions from Chicago Fire Soccer Club and Schaumburg Boomers.

Bring the whole family to the Kickoff Party from noon-3 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, for energizing activities including BINGO, face painting, prizes, and a photo booth. Meet Southpaw from the Chicago White Sox from noon-1 p.m. Enjoy humor, bubble machines, and fun by attending the "Dave Rudolf: Get in The Game" program from 1-2 p.m. Tickets are available Saturday, May 28 to valid district cardholders.

After finishing the Read for the Win program, participants will receive a Grand Prize T-shirt or tote bag, generously donated by the Friends of the Palatine Public Library. Claim your T-shirt or tote bag through Wednesday, Aug. 31.
