Elgin

• Kristoffer K. Guinto, no age provided, of South Cannon Drive in Mount Prospect was charged Saturday with possession of less than 5 grams of methamphetamine, issuing/delivering a forged document and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a police report.

• Victor F. Campos, 44, of Elgin was charged with battery Saturday after he grabbed a police officer's hand and pushed it away when the officer attempted to take his alcoholic beverage, according to a police report, which did not list his address. Campos was drinking in public, according to a police report.

Kane County

• Assorted jewelry was stolen at about 3:29 p.m. May 13 from a home on the 1400 block of Church Road near Aurora. A man approached a woman who was gardening and distracted her while other men burglarized the home.
