Free Estate Planning Seminar in Schaumburg

A free estate planning seminar presented by Edward Jones will take place on Thursday, June 9th at 6:00 p.m. in the Edward Jones office at 1901 North Roselle Road in Schaumburg. The featured speaker will be attorney Brian Warens of Lavelle Law.

"Death and Taxes: Why You Need an Estate Plan" will cover key topics related to developing a sound estate plan. Warens will discuss the reasons to have a plan in place, what the ramifications may be without one, the key documents in an estate plan, tax implications and more.

"The essential message we will share is about being in control," said Warens who works in the Estate Planning practice group at the 24-attorney firm in Palatine. "By defining and documenting what you want done if you are incapacitated or die unexpectedly, you protect your assets and greatly reduce the turmoil that can be caused for your family if you do not have a plan in place."

The seminar is free and will include hors d'oeuvres but advance registration is requested. Seats can be reserved by calling 847-885-2451. The event will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chatham Center Conference Room at Edward Jones Schaumburg.
