Naperville Park District presents free outdoor concerts for kids this summer

Children and their families are invited to the Naperville Park District's series of free outdoor concerts, beginning June 14. The weekly entertainment series features local artists who enjoy entertaining and involving children in the show. Performances begin at 11:30 a.m. and last about 45 minutes. The July 19 and July 26 shows will include a special performance by Élan Dance Company beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Locations alternate between the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion in downtown Naperville (just west of Centennial Beach) and Frontier Sports Complex (Book Road Entrance), located at 3415 Book Road.

The free concert series is sponsored by Living Well Dental Group, Meatheads, Eye Level, and Aurelio's Pizza. The 2016 summer schedule is as follows:

• June 14 -Jeanie B. (Riverwalk Grand Pavilion)

• June 21 - Miss Jamie from the Farm (Frontier Sports Complex)

• June 28 - Super Stolie (Riverwalk Grand Pavilion)

• July 12 - Mary Macaroni's Music & Magic (Frontier Sports Complex)

• July 19 - Scott Piner (Riverwalk Grand Pavilion) - preshow by Élan Dance Company

• July 26 - Istvan & His Imaginary Band (Frontier Sports Complex)- preshow by Élan Dance Company
