The 2016 Concerts in Your Park series, presented by Continental Motors of Naperville, is bringing family-friendly music to six Naperville parks throughout the community this summer beginning June 12. The free, Sunday evening concerts feature Chicago area bands in a variety of music styles. The 2016 schedule is as follows:

June 12 - Central Park, 104 E. Benton Ave. - Rockin' Fenderskirts

June 26 - Timber Creek, 3323 Timber Creek Lane - Wild Daisy

July 10 - Gartner Park, 524 W. Gartner Rd. - Five Guys Named Moe

July 17 - A. George Pradel Park, 4519 Pradel Dr. - Spoken Four

July 24 - Meadow Glens, 1303 Muirhead Ave. - 1976

July 31 - Rotary Hill, 443 Aurora Ave. - Swing Forward

All concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. and end by 8:30 p.m. The audience is encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy a Sunday evening of musical entertainment.

Concert goers may bring their own food and beverages or may purchase food from a variety of food trucks that may be on site for some or all of the concerts. Aurelio's Pizza, OMango, Kona Ice, TCBY, Thatsanice and Big Poppa Dogs are the 2016 food truck vendors for the Naperville Park District's special events and athletic programs.

"Continental Motors of Naperville is excited about sharing a Sunday evening with our Naperville neighbors and this year's concert lineup," said Sabrina Erskine, director of ecommerce & marketing for Continental Motors of Naperville. "We continue to enjoy and appreciate our partnership with the Naperville Park District. Be sure to stop by our tent for a complimentary gift."

Earlier in 2016 the locations of the concerts were selected by participants in an online contest called "Your Concert, Your Park, Your Choice." Interested residents cast more than 700 votes for preferred locations and styles of music for the 2016 summer concert series.

Reebie Storage and Moving Company is a co-sponsor of the 2016 Concerts in Your Park series.
