Knowles to sell mobile consumer electronics product line

ITASCA - Knowles Corp. said it will sell its mobile consumer electronics speaker and receiver product line to Loyal Valley Innovation Capital.

Terms of the sale were not announced. The sale remains subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2016.

Loyal Valley Innovation Capital is an investment company based in Asia founded by Andy Lin, the founder and former CEO of China Universal Asset Management Company. LVIC has focused on investing in companies that bring quality life to people, including Didi, Sunshine Insurance and Funage.

Knowles is a manufacturer and supplier of advanced micro-acoustic, audio processing, and specialty component solutions, serving the mobile consumer electronics, communications, medical, military, aerospace, and industrial markets.
