Hoffman Estates seeking new firefighters

The Hoffman Estates Fire Department is accepting applications until 2 p.m. Friday, June 3, for the position of firefighter/paramedic.

Applications are available only at recruitment.iosoltions.com. There is a $40 nonrefundable application fee.

There are several minimum eligibility requirements, including proof of a valid Illinois Department of Public Health license as a paramedic, and proof of a valid Candidate Physical Ability Test and approved Ladder Climb card from a licensed agency before July 9.

All portions of the testing process are mandatory. An orientation and written exam will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 9, at Hoffman Estates High School, 1100 W. Higgins Road.
