Hollister Incorporated Hires Carolin Archibald for Newly Created Position of Vice President of U.S. and Canada

LIBERTYVILLE, IL - May 16, 2016 - Hollister Incorporated, a global healthcare products and services company, has hired medical device veteran Carolin Archibald as vice president, U.S. and Canada, to lead the company's Ostomy, Continence Care and Critical Care businesses. In the newly created position, Archibald will also oversee the company's Secure Start services and key accounts organizations in the U.S. and Canada.

Archibald was most recently president of privately held Medela, Inc. in the U.S. - leading more than 700 people working in sales, marketing, business development,

R&D, operations, quality management, regulatory affairs, finance, IT and HR.

During her 14 years with Medela, Inc., Archibald also served as vice president of the following three divisions: professional business, consumer business and marketing. She helped to evolve Medela into a marketing-driven organization by working closely with R&D and sales to integrate the customer perspective into new product development.

Archibald earned her Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and her Bachelor of Arts in International Politics & Economics and Mandarin Chinese from Middlebury College. She lives in Libertyville, Illinois with her family.
