Palatine Mini Maker Faire at Quest Academy, May 21

The Maker Faire is coming to Palatine! The Palatine Mini Maker Faire is scheduled from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, May 21, on the campus of Quest Academy in Palatine. The Palatine Mini Maker Faire takes after its enormous parent event, Maker Faire. The Palatine Mini Maker Faire will be a smaller, community-focused event, but will follow the Maker Faire model of celebrating do-it-yourself creativity and tinkering.

"Make, create, craft, recycle, build, think, play, and be inspired by celebrating arts, crafts, engineering, food, music, science, and technology."

Featuring both established and emerging local "makers," the Palatine Mini Maker Faire is a family-friendly celebration giving opportunities to makers, inventors, artists and tinkerers from Chicago, Northern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin and all over the Midwest the chance to share their creativity with the Illinois community. Come to a Maker Faire to explore your own creativity, and be exposed to some of the most creative people in Illinois!

Makers at the Palatine Mini Maker Faire include: GoDroneX, Wildcat Makers, Art Bots, Chi Bots, Toool Chicago, Workshop 88, Virtual Reality, Minecraft, Trossen Robotics, and Knights of Tech.
