Nordstrom Inc., down $6.07 to $39.16
The department store slashed its annual projections as retailers continued to report first-quarter sales slumps.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc., down $1.91 to $64.94
Consumer companies took some of the biggest losses Friday as reports showed that Americans are doing more of their shopping online.

The medical technology company cut its sales projections, saying orders haven't improved as much as it expected.
