Nordstrom and Wal-Mart fall, Shake Shack and Nvidia jump

NEW YORK (AP) - Stocks that moved substantially or traded heavily Friday:

Nordstrom Inc., down $6.07 to $39.16

The department store slashed its annual projections as retailers continued to report first-quarter sales slumps.

Shake Shack Inc., up $3.34 to $37.60

The burger chain raised its sales estimate after its first-quarter results beat forecasts, in part because of the popularity of its new fried chicken sandwich.

Nvidia Corp., up $5.41 to $40.98

The graphics chip and processor maker surpassed Wall Street forecasts in the first quarter.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc., down $1.91 to $64.94

Consumer companies took some of the biggest losses Friday as reports showed that Americans are doing more of their shopping online.

ConforMIS Inc., down $4.99 to $5.12

The medical technology company cut its sales projections, saying orders haven't improved as much as it expected.

Tetraphase Pharmaceuticals Inc., down 72 cents to $3.47

The company said it will have to run another clinical trial to get approval for its anti-bacterial drug.

Nortek Inc., up $3.66 to $49.78

The building products company gave a more optimistic forecast for the year after it made its first-quarter report.

Concordia Healthcare Corp., up $3.27 to $26.30

The Canadian drug company reported weaker-than-expected results for the first quarter.
