In 1998, Bettcher toured with Phil Collins throughout the United States and Europe, recording a live CD in Paris. He recorded five CDs with the Frank Mantooth Orchestra, receiving multiple Grammy nominations.

Trumpeter Dave Katz has toured with Louie Bellson, Dizzy Gillespie and Woody Herman.
