Environmental Fair, book sale at Schaumburg library

An Environmental Fair and book sale are coming this Saturday, May 14, to the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

The Environmental Fair will take place from noon to 3 p.m. in the lobby and throughout the library, while the book sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the library's basement.

No fee or registration is required to enter either event, but some of the Environmental Fair's programs require registration. Among the fair's programs are "Rain as a Resource," "Invite Nature to Your Yard," "From Farm to Table: Organic Cooking Demo," "Build a Birdhouse," and "kidsZone Recycled Crafts."
