District 211 students attend manufacturing career fair

Palatine-Schaumburg High School District 211, the Golden Corridor Advanced Manufacturing Program and the TMA Education Foundation worked together to provide an opportunity for students to speak directly to approximately 25 manufacturing companies in a visit to Amada America in Schaumburg.

Students learned firsthand about the opportunities in manufacturing and got to practice their interviewing skills. They were encouraged to bring resumes. District officials hope the interchange may lead to summer internships for some students.
