RSVP by Monday for State of the Counties Luncheon

Metro West Council of Government will host its ninth annual State of the Counties Luncheon on Friday, May 20, at Eagle Brook Country Club, 2288 Fargo Blvd. in Geneva. It is for local government agencies, officials, representatives and business partners in DeKalb, Kane and Kendall counties.

Metro West Council of Government is a nonprofit organization that represents municipalities in Kane, Kendall and DeKalb counties. Metro West fosters local cooperation to address regional issues and provides a united voice for municipalities.

The luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m.to 1:30 p.m. It will feature Kane County Board Chairman Chris Lauzen, DeKalb County Board Chairman Mark Pietrowski and Kendall County Board Vice Chairman Scott Gryder. Each speaker will provide an overview of the state of his county - its accomplishments and its challenges.

Cost for attendance is $35 for members and $40 for nonmembers. Those who wish to attend should contact Metro West Council of Government in Aurora, Illinois at (630) 859-1331 or by email to metrowest1565@sbcglobal.net no later than Monday, May 16.
