Serve City Athletics offers beach volleyball program

Serve City Athletics, a youth sports organization based in Glen Ellyn, is offering a special discount on registration for its family-friendly new summer beach volleyball program in Downers Grove, Elgin and Winfield.

Families can enjoy $25 in savings off the $225 regular program price if they like or follow Serve City Athletics' Facebook or Instagram pages and get an additional $25 off if they share a Serve City beach volleyball announcement with their Facebook friends. Both social media discounts drop the registration cost to just $175 per seven-week session. The discount ends June 1 and is only good for new registrations.

One Serve City beach volleyball tournament jersey is included with registration, but the price does not include entry into tournaments or a USAV or AAU beach membership.

Serve City's beach sessions, instructed by beach-trained coaches, will hit the sand during the week of June 13 to 17 and run through the week of July 25 to 29.

Downers Grove is home to Serve City's largest beach venue. Classes will be offered for girls and guys in middle school and high school at McCollum Park on Monday to Thursday mornings. Girls and guys can also learn the world's fastest-growing sport at Oakwood Park in Winfield on Mondays and Wednesdays and Tuesdays and Thursdays between 4 and 7 p.m. Serve City will also offer weekday practices for girls ages 11 to 14 on the sand courts at Epworth Church in Elgin next door to Harvest Christian Academy.
