Get Solstice Hop and Vine Fest tickets

Plan ahead to toast in summer with a selection of wines, brews and food at the annual Solstice Hop & Vine Fest, presented by Schaumburg Bank & Trust, a Wintrust Community Bank from 6-9 p.m. June 18.

Tickets are now available online for the annual celebration, which supports recreation scholarships and other projects of the Schaumburg Park Foundation. Tickets only are available online and may be purchased at www.parkfun.com/solstice2016.

This year's event will take place at Meineke Park, 220 E. Weathersfield Road. Meineke will host this year's event while the usual venue, Spring Valley Nature Center, is under construction.

This year will feature live music by The Ken Slauf Band and food from Chandler's Chophouse, Moretti's Ristorante and Pizzeria, Riccardo's Ristorante, Granite City and Costco.

A selection of wineries is led by Lynfred, the event's host winery. Other beverage purveyors include Arcade Brewery, Granite City Brewery and Restaurant, Church Street Brewing Company, Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurants, Noon Whistle Brewing, Ram Restaurant and Brewery, Village Vintner Winery, Brewery and Restaurant, and Wild Blossom Meadery and Winery.

Fest admission includes a commemorative wine or beer glass. Package sales are also available on-site, giving attendees a chance to take home their favorites.

The event sells out every year, so early purchase is recommended. Tickets are $30. The event is held rain or shine.

Guests must be 21 and older to attend. A valid ID is required and will be checked at the entrance.

Complimentary parking will be available at James B. Conant High School, 700 E Cougar Trail, Hoffman Estates, with complimentary shuttle service to the fest grounds.

Due to the outdoor event venue, conservative footwear is recommended.
