Oklahoma State, Oklahoma to play in NCAA golf regional

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma State and Oklahoma will both play in the NCAA golf regional in Stillwater.

The Cowboys are the host and the No. 1 seed for the regional while the Sooners are seeded No. 3 among the 14 teams that will play May 16-18 at Karsten Creek Golf Club.

The top five teams will advance to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon, may 27-June 1.

Clemson is the No. 2 seed with Duke No. 4 and Augusta No. 5.

Others in the field are Purdue; Michigan State; Tennessee; Northwestern; Louisville; McNeese State; VCU; Missouri-Kansas City; and Alabama State.
