• Justin D. Utz, 33, of the 1000 block of Appletree, Bartlett, was arrested around 2:29 a.m. April 25 on the 1000 block of Apple Valley Drive and charged with aggravated assault against a police officer. His court date is May 17.

Elk Grove Village

• Kendrick D. Robinson, 38, of the 15300 block of Afton Avenue, Markham, was arrested around 8 p.m. April 12 on the 16300 block of Kedzie Avenue, Markham, and charged with threatening telephone calls. His court date is May 17.

• Omar I. Sanchez, 24, of the 100 block of South Mott Street, Los Angeles, California, was arrested around 12:02 a.m. April 15 on the 1000 block of West Devon Avenue and charged with unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm without a Firearm Owners ID card. His court date is May 24.

Hanover Park

• A vandal shot a BB-gun pellet around 6:15 a.m. April 26 that shattered a car window on the 7500 block of Churchill.

• Burglars stole tools around 8:41 p.m. April 26 out of a shed on the 5500 block of Court H.

• Vandals broke the rear driver's-side window around 6:44 p.m. April 24 on a Nissan Sentra at Olde Salem and Somerset.

• Burglars stole two computer tablets and a high school ring around 4 p.m. April 8 out of a house on the 6700 block of Pine Tree.

• Burglars stole a TV and clothing around 12:30 a.m. April 20 out of a house on the 1900 block of Ontarioville.

• Vandals broke a picture window around 10:10 a.m. April 14 at a house on the 5500 block of Court Q.

Hoffman Estates

• Joseph Linzy, 24, of the 1300 block of Rebecca Drive, Hoffman Estates, was arrested around 2:06 a.m. April 16 and charged with battery and resisting a peace officer at Americas Bar, 2308 W. Higgins Road. His court date is May 9.

• Elizabeth Jennie Castro, 38, of the 3200 block of West 51st Street, Chicago, was arrested around 1:26 a.m. April 17 at Hilton Garden Inn, 2425 N. Barrington Road, and charged with two counts of endangering the life/health of a child. The police report said she went to a party and left her two children alone in a hotel room. Her court date is May 17.

Streamwood

• Kenneth R. Green, 42, of the 700 block of Apple Tree Lane, Bartlett, was arrested around 12:55 p.m. April 22 at Route 59 and Lake Street and charged with felony aggravated battery and retail theft. The police report said a security agent at Target, 1001 S. Sutton Road, saw him take a utility tote off a shelf and fill it with merchandise worth $918. When the agent confronted him in the store's vestibule, he pushed the agent, then entered a blue minivan with a female passenger and drove away, the report said. An officer saw the van and stopped it, the report said.

• A thief stole three watches, possibly on April 21, out of a house on the 100 block of Locksley Drive. A male acquaintance was in the home around 9:30 p.m. April 21 doing laundry. The female victim discovered the watches missing around noon April 24. Value was estimated at $2,045.
