New Schaumburg Radisson Hotel opens

The newly constructed 5-story Radisson Hotel has opened in Schaumburg at the southwest corner of Roselle Road and the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway.

Swift Hospitality Group Inc. based in Freeport is behind the development of the 137-room hotel. "We are pleased to bring this new Radisson to the area as it brings a level of style and comfort that visitors have learned to expect from one of the world's leading full-service hotel brands," said David Swift, SHG chairman and CEO.

The hotel features an open floor plan and modern feel to create a relaxing space for guests, including a bar in the lobby, a dining area with an extensive menu, a business center and meeting planning services, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a large indoor pool and whirlpool and an outdoor patio with fire pit. The hotel also features Business Class by Radisson which provides guests with upgraded amenities specifically designed with the business traveler in mind. Guests who book Business Class rooms and suites enjoy complimentary breakfast each morning, a complimentary beverage and hors d'oeuvres in the Business Class Lounge each evening. Complimentary Wi-Fi, on-site parking and shuttle service to O'Hare airport and within five miles of the hotel are available to all guests.
