Humane Society of Aurora to host open house Saturday

The Humane Society of Aurora will hold an open house from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at Aurora Animal Care and Control, 600 S. River St. in Aurora.

Free micro-chipping service will be offered for the first 100 for cats and dogs. Included is lifetime registration in the Found Animals Microchip Registry.

A limited supply of spay/neuter vouchers will be distributed to Aurora pet owners.

Spay Illinois is a nonprofit dedicated to ending the suffering and euthanasia of companion animals in Illinois by providing widespread access to affordable spay, neuter, and other preventative veterinary care. Visit spayillinois.org.
