Hulk scores 2 as Zenit beats CSKA 4-1 to win Russian Cup

KAZAN, Russia (AP) - Brazil striker Hulk scored two penalties as Zenit St. Petersburg beat CSKA Moscow 4-1 on Monday to win the Russian Cup for the first time since 2010.

Hulk opened the scoring from the spot in the 34th minute, but CSKA's Aaron Olanare struck back immediately, only to limp off injured soon after.

Striker Alexander Kokorin put Zenit ahead in the 55th, and then earned the game's second penalty when he burst into the box and was brought down by stalwart center half Vasily Berezutsky, who was sent off in the 62nd.

Hulk punished CSKA with his second penalty to make it 3-1 and, with Zenit in full control against the Russian leader, midfielder Artur Yusupov added the fourth with a low shot.

"It's worth a lot, this day, and I'm really happy," Zenit striker Artyom Dzyuba said on television. "I'm going to celebrate it, but not a lot, and we will try to catch up with CSKA in the league."

Zenit is the reigning league champion, but is fourth and sits four points behind CSKA with four games remaining.

Andre Villas-Boas is leaving as Zenit coach at the end of the season and will now depart having won all three Russian domestic trophies - the Cup, Premier League and Super Cup - during his two years charge.
