Girls water polo: Mogensen, Anderson lead Palatine's victory
Senior Mathilde Mogensen scored 4 goals and drew 5 ejections to help visiting Palatine win its Mid-Suburban League crossover matchup at Buffalo Grove on Monday.
Kristin Anderson also had 4 goals for Palatine, and Kelsey Hank and Jasmina Mesic had 1 apiece while Tess O'Brien (8 saves) and Meghan Woell (3 saves) shared time in goal.
• In the other Mid-Suburban divisional crossovers, West runner-up Barrington topped Rolling Meadows 8-5, Hoffman Estates edged Wheeling 11-9 and Schaumburg handled Elk Grove 11-3.
