  As newspaper photojournalists we shoot a lot of assignments, and at each assignment we shoot a whole lot of pictures. There's only so much room in the paper so not everything that we like gets printed. Fortunately we have virtually unlimited space online so you can see them there, but I thought this one deserved a chance to be clipped out and hung on the 'fridge. I spent election night following Rob Russell and at the end of the evening I was rewarded with this gem of Rob Russell and his wife Susan posing for a selfie after the results roll in for the Kane County Coroner's race.Election night is fun, crazy, stressful and a whole lot more, but I enjoy it every time.
