4 men accused of selling drugs from Lake in the Hills bar

Four suburban men face numerous felony charges of selling narcotics out of a bar in Lake in the Hills, authorities said Monday.

The arrests stemmed from a joint investigation by the Lake in the Hills Police Department and the McHenry County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Task Force, sparked by numerous complaints of patrons selling cocaine inside the bar.

During the undercover operation, detectives purchased roughly seven grams of cocaine from the men, authorities said.

Three of the four - Victor Velasco, 39, of Lakemoor, Jason Silberbauer, 25, of Lake in the Hills, and Lukas Cerniauskas, 22, of Crystal Lake - were taken into custody Friday. During Velasco's arrest, detectives seized an additional 29.5 grams of cocaine, six vials of steroids, 37 pills of steroids, three digital scales, five Xanax pills, and $3,446. The street value of the cocaine seized is estimated to be roughly $3,600, authorities said.

Authorities said they are seeking to apprehend the fourth suspect - Christopher Caceres, 38, of Cary.

Velasco faces felony charges of unlawful criminal drug conspiracy, two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, four counts of unlawful criminal drug conspiracy, two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of ammo with FOID, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and misdemeanor charges of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of steroids. His bond was set at $350,000. He will next appear in court 9 a.m. May 13, police said.

Silberbauer faces felony charges of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful criminal drug conspiracy, and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $60,000. His next court appearance is 9 a.m. May 18, police said.

Cerniauskas faces felony charges of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful criminal drug conspiracy, and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $50,000 and he's due in court at 9 a.m. May 26.

Caceres is wanted on felony charges of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful criminal drug conspiracy, two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, four counts of unlawful criminal drug conspiracy, and three counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $100,000, police said.

Members of the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force, Drug Enforcement Administration, Lake County Metropolitan Enforcement Group, Lake County Sheriff's Office Gang Task Force, Lake in the Hills Police Department, Crystal Lake Police Department, and the McHenry County Sheriff's Police were involved in apprehending the suspects.
