St. Thomas of Villanova School Names Mary Brinkman New Principal

St. Thomas of Villanova School, in Palatine, wants to announce the appointment of Mary Brinkman as principal. Previously, Brinkman was acting principal, a position she assumed in August 2015, after the previous principal suddenly resigned. Mary has taught at St. Thomas for thirty eight years and prior to that at Immaculate Heart of Mary School for nine. Previous to her role as acting principal, she taught Health and Physical Education to all grade levels and was assistant principal for 8 years. Mary received her Bachelors of Arts degree from Benedictine University and her Master's degree from George Williams College.

Mary brings to the school, leadership, wisdom and vision and she works tirelessly to make St. Thomas the very best place for the students and faculty to succeed. Most mornings Principal Brinkman can be seen welcoming students and greeting parents, whom she recognizes play an important role in their children's educations.

St. Thomas of Villanova School is located at 1141 E. Anderson Drive in Palatine.
