Storms prompt tornado warnings in Illinois, Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Meteorologists are warning strong storms could bring large hail and tornadoes to parts of Illinois and Indiana.

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm watch Sunday for parts of both states.

In southern Illinois, a tornado warning was in effect for parts Crawford and Lawrence counties until 9 p.m. The weather service warns tennis ball-sized hail is possible.

In central Indiana, a tornado warning was in effect for southern Marion and southeastern Hendricks counties until 10 p.m.
