Arlington Heights man named to EIU board

An Arlington Heights man has been appointed by Gov. Bruce Rauner to the Eastern Illinois University board of trustees, according to a release Friday afternoon. Carl Mito, managing director of investments at Oppenheimer & Co., is an EIU alumnus who established a foundation through the college's school of business and served on the business school's advisory board and the EIU Foundation over several years. "His well-documented support for the university, combined with his background in financial management, make him well suited for the board," Rauner said in the statement.
