Check out big trucks in Palatine May 7

Children of all ages will get the opportunity to see big vehicles from local municipalities and businesses up close when the Palatine Park District hots its Big Trucks event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 7, in the Family Aquatic Center parking lot.

Big trucks from businesses like Groot Recycling and Jewel-Osco and municipalities like the Palatine Police Department and Park District will be there for children to get a good look at and even sit in the driver's seat.

In addition to trucks, there will be free Chick-fil-A sandwiches, goody bags for the first 1,000 children, a free prize raffle, a craft provided by Lakeshore Learning and handouts provided by The Palatine Public Library.
