IHOP celebrates Schaumburg grand opening

IHOP recently celebrated the grand opening of its first restaurant in Schaumburg, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony involving members of the Schaumburg Business Association.

The restaurant opened to the public in February, replacing the former Denny's at 1700 E. Higgins Road. The restaurant was remodeled according to the brand's new "Rise 'N Shine" design concept and is operated by Schaumburg resident and IHOP franchisee Michael Ruben.

The restaurant employs 30 workers.
