Only four players have successfully defended at New Orleans - Byron Nelson (1945-46), Bo Wininger (1962-63), Tom Watson (1980-81) and Carlos Franco (1999-2000). ... Haru Nomura became the third player with two wins this year, joining Lydia Ko and Ha Na Jang. They both have two victories. ... Nomura, Minjee Lee and Mo Martin have played all 40 rounds on the LPGA Tour schedule this year. Martin and Lee are in Texas. Nomura is taking the week off. ... Canadian teen Brooke Henderson extended her streak to nine straight top-10 finishes when she tied for sixth at Lake Merced. She is up to No. 5 in the women's world ranking. ...
