Hoffman Estates Jaycees to Award $500 Scholarships!

The Hoffman Estates Jaycees will award up to two $500 scholarships to well-rounded high school seniors who live in Hoffman Estates. To be eligible, students must be residents of Hoffman Estates and plan to attend a trade school, college or university in the fall. The scholarship application can be downloaded from www.hoffmanestatesjaycees.org and must be submitted by May 2, 2016. The scholarship is based on merit, service and volunteering in the school or community.

"We are looking for future leaders and community-service minded individuals to build the future," said Vice President Cassy Topolinski. "Recipients will receive $500 that can be used for college books, a new computer or something else they need to prepare for their first college semester."

The Hoffman Estates Jaycees is a civic organization that provides individuals between the age of 21 and 40 the opportunity to network and develop personal and leadership skills while serving their community. The Hoffman Estates Jaycees meets at 7 p.m., on the third Wednesday of each month at the Hoffman Estates Village Hall Training Room located at 1900 Hassell Road.
