Lake County associate judge finalists named

The circuit judges of the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit have named Gurnee attorney Paul B. Novak and Stacey L. Seneczko of Libertyville as finalists for a second associate judge vacancy created by the Illinois Supreme Court appointment of Christen L. Bishop. Chief Judge Jorge Ortiz certified the names to the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts in Springfield. Novak is a sole practitioner and Stacey Seneczko is a partner in the law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP. Both candidates were evaluated and found to be highly recommended by members of the Lake County Bar Association's Judicial Selection and Retention Committee. Ballots containing the finalists' names will be mailed to the Lake County circuit judges. Each circuit judge will cast a secret ballot and, after the votes have been tabulated in Springfield, Ortiz will be notified of the results.
