District 62 student lunch prices rise 10 cents

The cost of student lunches will go up 10 cents next school year in Des Plaines Elementary District 62.

Beginning in August, student lunches will cost $2.65, according to the fee schedule approved by the school board this week. The cost of breakfast ($1.30) and adult lunches ($3.10) will remain the same.

The new fees come as the district extends its food services contract with Arbor Management, reflecting a 2.6 percent increase for the per meal price rate.
