Author to read from new book at Oakton

Former Oakton Community College student Eric Jeong will read from "Cripple Dance of the Least," his prizewinning story about Korean immigrants living in a group house in the Windy City, at 6 p.m., Wednesday, April 20, at Oakton's Studio One, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines.

The free event is part of the college's Chicago Writers Series.

Jeong studied creative writing with David Kelly, Chicago Writers Series founder and Oakton lecturer. He has published five books in Korean, three short story anthologies, and two books of essays. Jeong's reading will be in both Korean and English.
